Gardener Job in Portland, Oregon

Pride and Joy Landscapes provides organic gardening services. Our team is horticulturally knowledgeable and skilled in personalized residential garden maintenance. This is not a mow and blow position. Job responsibilities include tree, shrub, and perennial pruning and maintenance. Maintenance team is also occasionally responsible for installation of plants and small hardscapes as well. Applicants must have experience with weed identification and removal, pest/disease identification and organic treatments. Plant identification and pruning knowledge/experience required and able to be demonstrated. Our ideal applicant has excellent interpersonal communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork. You must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Must be physically fit (able to easily lift 50 lbs repeatedly), comfortable working on a 10' ladder, and able to operate electric tools. Must be willing to work outside in ALL weather. Work schedule is Mon-Wed 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Pay range $18.00 - .../hour DOE.
