Gardener Job in Wayland, Massachusetts

We’re looking for an experienced gardener with some background in permaculture/sustainable land management. We have 7.8 acres of white pine wetland bordering the Sudbury River with some lawn area and planting beds adjacent to the house. Pay is negotiable, commensurate with experience, but in line with experienced horticulturalist rates. Happy to have it be salary based or hourly rate; I imagine it would average out to 2 days a week annually, with fluctuation depending on seasonal needs. Some of the regular tasks: —weeding, deadheading, planting and leaf-mulching —hand pruning of shrubs and trees —organic care of blueberry, peach and pear trees, perhaps other future edibles — removal of glossy buckthorn and other invasives. Planting competitive natives —garden management/advice (i.e. what’s thriving; what should be replaced or moved) —helping to create and implement a diversified lawn. Re: lawn care, we would be willing to either buy an electric mower for onsite use or hire separately for mowing This would be a good fit for someone interested in having a good-sized property to experiment with integrated approaches to native plantings, diversification, invasive control, and small-scale carbon capture.
