Gardener Job in Sarasota, Florida

Hibiscus, Bouganvilla, Dessert Rose, and many other colorful plants and shrubs on our acre lawn need tending on a weekly/biweekly basis. Some plants and shrubs are brand new. Roughly 1/4 of the shrubs and bushes are a bit overgrown and need to be trimmed and groomed back to their original splendor. This position is for the ongoing maintenance of shrubs and plants. Hand pruning and trimming, fertilization when necessary. Owners have providers for grass, sprinklers, and weeds, but may need to be notified if there is an issue while they are away. Gardener must have experience in the care, trimming and maintenance of Florida landscapes and be reliable and trustworthy to come weekly or biweekly to see to the proper care of our landscape. Owners have a beautiful landscape and want to keep it looking amazing whether they are home or away. Gardener will need to contact owners if there are any issues with the sprinklers (too wet or too dry), fertilizer (too much, too little), and will need to apply fertilizer to individual plants if necessary.
