I have 40 years experience in horticulture but my back can't do the work anymore. Not a large yard, but looking to create a showpiece in downtown Greenwich! Love searching for unusual plants. trees etc. Not interested in the "typical " garden and would prefer no lawn at all. Some knowledge of plants is a plus, nice if you know about irrigation systems, but irrigation is not a must. Also would like to create some sort of small water feature in rear yard. Some of my favorite plants are:
Davidia involucrata "Lady Sunshine", Nicotiana mutabilis, Pinus bungeana, Sciadopitys verticillata, Rosa '"Félicité Parmentier", Papaver somniferum, Cornus florida var. pringlei, Franklinia alatamaha, Magnolia ashei. Looking for someone two days a week from April 1 - November 1.
