Gardener Job in Bolton, Ontario

Job hours Requirements: Available long term for 1-2 days per week. Must be bonded, licensed and insured. Gardening skills required: Maintaining and developing the gardens of clients. grass cutting, emptying bins, weed control and leaf raking. Planting new trees, flowers and various plants. Maintenance of plant/flower beds Making sure that all garden equipment is correctly maintained and serviced. Seeding plants and watering them at the correct times. Clearing rubbish and litter away from the gardens and grounds. Constructing fences, walls and ponds. Pond maintenance and pesticide application. Laying down paving and concrete slabs to create walk ways. Giving advice and guidance to property owners on all matters relating to gardening. Installing lighting in the garden Deciding on which seeds to plant and which locations. Advising home owners on the costs of plants and any work to be done, giving written quotations. Sourcing the material, plants, trees and machinery on behalf of clients. Undertaking the basic servicing and repair of all garden machinery. Handyman skills required: Appliance repair/installation Carpentry Duct cleaning Electrical & Solar Energy solutions Flooring Painting Plumbing Pressure washing Roofing Windows & Doors Metal & Welding General handyman services Construction HVAC Advising home owners on the costs of equipment and any work to be done, giving written quotations.
