Gardener Job in Victoria, British Columbia

We recently moved and we are using the lawn mowing company that the previous owners used, but they are not keen on doing weeding - we've asked twice and they haven't done it, it's been a month now, so we're looking to hire someone to help us with weeds and plantings. My husband cut down a large blackberry bush that was in a bad place. He is a hard working Gardner but he needs help. I take care of the house cleaning, cooking and other stuff. It's not going to be me to help him - but that's where you can come in. We need someone who has maybe a bit more experience than he does with thistles in particular and can work along him to determine what's worth doing and what to leave. We're on 3/4 acre with a forested area, so we're not going to take care of everything. Great if you can spot potential issues and make recommendations. You should be able to work efficiently without sacrificing quality. We want someone who is reliable and comes when they say they will. It would be a bonus if you can do trimmings removal, i.e. have a truck to haul away trainings and weeds. We have loads of bags and they fill up quickly! We will need you to come on the weekend for the first few times as my husband works weekdays. We can pay per project or hourly and will pay with cash or e-transfer, which ever you prefer.
