Gardener Job in Portland, Oregon

We are looking for a weekly service. We have a professionally designed and established (about 4 years old) garden in the immediate area around our house. This is the area which we would like maintenance to include light pruning, weeding, fertilizing, occasional mulching and winter cleanup. There is no grass. We also have a much larger lot which we simply try to keep under control such as spraying for weeds, blackberries, etc. We have a long laurel hedge (100 feet?) which needs to be kept trimmed. We are fed up with large maintenance companies. It seems most of the money we spend goes into their overhead, the workers are low skilled, don't seem invested and there is a lot of labor turnover. Our wish is to find an individual who simply loves to garden, who can occasionally fix a sprinkler (and shut it down for winter), who can shear a hedge and who will charge a reasonable price.
