Gardener Job in Portland, Oregon

We are located in the west hills in Portland near Patton Rd. Our garden has a mix of both old and new shrubs and perennials. We have a few deciduous trees and shrubs and do not have any turf. Our outdoor living spaces are gravel or stone. We are looking for an individual who knows how to take care of plants such as proper pruning, recognizing and treating disease or pests, fertilizing, water adjustments, etc. We need a person who is flexible and a good communicator and can work with us to define priorities which can be adjusted as needed. Tasks include weeding, blowing, raking, deadheading, pruning, trimming, fertilizing, mulching, treating, occasional minor irrigation repair or adjustment. Occasional planting or transplanting, winter cleanup. We have found that the garden can generally be managed in about 2 hours per week from spring through winter cleanup. We are flexible if more or less time is required as needed. Please note, we have had some very good gardeners from the east side of Portland. They do not last long because they find the route to our property to be too long and convoluted. There really is no easy or straightforward way to arrive from the east side.
