Gardener Job in Whitby, Ontario

We live on a fairly large property near Highway 7 and Highway 412. About one acre of the property needs weekly maintenance. Most of the work would be in the gardens, including around the pool and patio. We would definitely be open to some landscaping suggestions as we are hosting a wedding in our backyard in late July. There is always lots to do on the property so I suspect we would need someone at least one full day each week. We are searching for a reliable and experienced gardener for plant care, planting, property clean-ups, pruning, and weed control, and lawn treatment and maintenance. I usually have time on weekends to drive the lawn tractor around, but the gardening and string trimming around the edges of the property that is required, to do it right, takes more time than I have available We can start as soon as you can. Your main responsibilities will include maintaining the health and appearance of the plants in my garden through regular watering, fertilizing, and monitoring for pests and diseases. You'll also be involved in planting new flowers, shrubs, and trees to add beauty to the property. Property clean-ups will be a regular task to maintain the overall tidiness and aesthetics of the garden. The pay is $20.0 hourly with flexible hours available.
