Taking out the weed and the patches of dead grass underneath, to nude soil. Maybe covering the whole surface with mulch, or seeding with a hardy and fast growing ground-cover, if price is affordable. The area is approximately "L" shaped (one side of the house and a small area in the front). The whole is about 20 x 2.5 meters (65x8 feet).
