Gardener Job in Vienna, Virginia

I am Jane, a homeowner in Vienna, Virginia, looking to hire now for continuing, regular work (probably 4-8 hours a week, at least initially) a professional gardener to design, plant, and maintain the gardens on my .3 acre property. I also need help with weed control in my garden and lawn. I am looking for someone who is very knowledgable of local plants and soil conditions, who cares about environmental stewardship, and who is willing to do real gardening work. I have had landscaping done, years ago, but I cannot keep up with the maintenance so it needs a lot of work. I also want to create a raingarden in a low, damp, shady part of my yard where grass won't grow. I am not seeking a vegetable garden, because wild animals like my yard too much, but I like flowers - cannot be ones deer like to eat. My azaleas never grow because they are constantly nibbled on.
