Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced organic gardener to manage and maintain a productive seasonal vegetable and herb garden in a 40ft x 70 ft fenced garden. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, planting, and overseeing the entire growing process for both summer and late summer harvests using organic farming principles. Responsibilities: • Plan, plant, and manage a vegetable and herb garden for summer and late summer harvests using organic methods. • Perform all garden maintenance tasks, including weeding, pruning, and harvesting while avoiding synthetic chemicals. • Maintain garden tools, irrigation systems, and overall cleanliness of the work area. • Work independently and efficiently to ensure a successful growing season. Requirements: • Experience in organic gardening or farming (2 years preferred) • Knowledge of soil health • Ability to work outdoors and perform physical gardening tasks • Self-motivated with attention to detail and a passion for sustainable growing practices. • Knowledge of native plants is helpful.
