Gardener Job in Toronto, Ontario

I need a somewhat knowledgeable gardener who knows which plants are perennial, easy to maintain, what works with the soil we have. We want to creat an easy to maintain garden with some Canadian native species with popular species mixed in, ideally we would like someone to help us plan a garden. However we are fine with just planting and maintaining the plants. If planning, we currently have a small outdoor space that is basically unusable, i would love it if someone can help me revitalize that space.

There may be some intensive labour work because of the pre-existing grass area. I am willing to do the diy, I am quite destructive in gardens. I also am willing to work with the gardener when I have time, but it will be under guidance due to my destructive nature. I have set a budget in mind and I hope to stay within the budget if the gardener is planning the garden as well. In any case, my priority is to give the gardener sufficient time and compensation for their hard work first because this is long term project.
