Jess and Emily here, also known as: Bloomy and Blondie: The Edible Landscapers Do you dream of eating delicious fruits and vegetables right from your own land but don’t have the time or experience to landscape? Do you also dream of eating healthier and supporting Maui’s local agricultural movement? We are here to help make that dream a reality! As two experienced gardeners (also with farming and arboricultural experience) we will help to create a beautiful and vibrant edible landscape in your very own yard. Tools, seeds and starts are available upon request. Typically, we like to do an initial walk-thru on the property to view the scale of the projects, discuss/design the overall vision, schedule work hours for multi-day projects and negotiate pay scale. Beyond farming and gardening experience, we also offer consultations on health and wellness (particularly raw/vegan recipes), beekeeping, worm-composting, and hands-on garden education for all ages. We believe that there is nothing more life enriching than growing food on your own land, harvesting, preparing and consuming it, and composting whatever is left, returning it to the aina. This closed-loop cycle is the way our ancestors lived for millions of years and is a great model to strive for in our lives.
