Offering the following services; Regenerative Agriculture Planning & Design, Gardening Installation & Consultations, Farm/Homestead Property Management Consultations, & Workshops for Beginners in Gardening, Agriculture, & Acreage Care. Studied Horticulture, Sustainable Agriculture, & Permaculture for years. I own a farm, Ancell Acres Farm, in 2 locations. I spent many years working with the Department of Natural Resources and Grant-funded teams to research, collect data, and develop plans of plant-based restoration and conservation surrounding the Chesapeake Bay. I then spent 3 years working on planting trees in the watershed in and around the Bay as a volunteer planting hundreds of trees each month. I had both informal and formal training during my time working on conservation projects. I later went back into formal education and training for Environmental Science, Permaculture, and several Agriculture/Horticulture courses. Throughout the last 15 years I’ve also maintained many gardens and learned how to analyze soil samples for the best possible solution to restore soil health, which in return provides a healthy environment for the plants in the garden to grow. I am currently studying under Doctor Elaine Ingham, to soon become the only qualified and certified Soil Food Web Lab Tech in the tristate area (VA/MD/DC/WV). This type of training is extensive and very fascinating. For the last 4 years I have been designing, installing, and working on gardens, homestead operations, small farm operations, and property clean up. Working through art I have a keen eye for textures and color palette matching, this aids with making creative garden designs that really draw in attention. I currently own and operate our farm with over 100 head of livestock and several gardens. We have a diverse range of garden types here on the property. The farm here is a clean-up restoration project I began at the end of July 2023. Since joining this project we’ve accomplished quite a lot. I also teach classes and workshops here on my farm. This is to protect any wildlife, people, or pets that may come into the garden or patio areas as most of the synthetic chemicals for garden care are highly toxic and even require a permit to handle.
