Gardener in Portland, Oregon

I am skilled at plant care, garden maintenance, and planting/pruning. Plant health is a top priority for me. During my time at the community garden I was able to encourage growth in a massive garden with various moving parts. I can plant new gardens, refurbish overgrown gardens, and maintain existing gardens. I own the basic gardening instruments. I have physical capabilities to lift and shovel heavy material. I have knowledge to build or construct new garden structures. As the leader of the community garden, I specialized in instructing and mentoring students as they learned to garden. If you are looking for guidance beyond the basics I’d be happy to teach! I Would love to create a relationship in which I visit and garden weekly or bi weekly with a few households. I would also be open to working short term projects. I have a degree in environmental sustainability and have a wide range of skills developed through leadership of a University gardens o program. I am passionate about plants and love to work with people to develop their dream garden. I work primarily outdoors and would be more than happy to wear a mask if you’d prefer!
