I excel where there is independence, hands-on work, and opportunity for learning. I am an adaptable, diligent and passionate worker. I also love to laugh and to collaborate and share ideas with others. I have experience working at a produce market, grocery store, and a coffee shop so I am comfortable working under pressure and with the public. However, my true passions are in the world of plants, sustainability and creativity. Last year I decided to start a vegetable garden at my grandmother’s house for her and me to work on together. I began reading on my own and experimenting to learn anything about plants. I challenged myself to try and grow from seed or to even propagate branches or stems. There were failures and disappointments but many of them did grow. From this experience I feel more confident with my direction in life and my goal for these next few years is to pursue a career and education in landscaping, or sustainable farming. I recently have been attending college, and trying to work at the same time but after this semester I have decided to take a break from school to focus on improving my skillset. I currently have an open schedule and would be ready to start work as soon as possible.
