Gardener in Austin, Texas

Hello! I'm a motivated, hard-working, knowledgeable gardener who is looking to help others create and maintain their dream gardens. I have over 5 years of experience volunteering on WWOOF farms around the country, gaining skills in building, livestock care, plant/mushroom identification, etc. I'm all about finding creative, low-cost/low-impact solutions to solve any gardening problem that arises! I have a huge interest in establishing community gardens around food deserts and educating young people about the importance of horticulture and self-sustenance. Previously I've worked mostly with kids and the elderly (as a nurse assistant), but as a graduate student of Neuroscience, introducing people to mindfulness and outdoor/hands-on education has become my life goal.
