Worked for the famous Sooke Harbour House for 20 years specialized in edible flowers and local flora and herbs and vegetables. From starter plants, seedling, propagation in greenhouse to gardens. Fall required harvesting seeds, bulbs and maintenance of the beds and landscape. Looking for an estate to maintain. I was nicknamed "the weeding wonder". There seems to be a trend of mulching on top of weeds, which is not gardening. Weeds must be pulled at the roots and soil tilled for successful removal of weeds. Many so call weeds are in fact edible and can be maintained in an appealingly way for harvest. I am knowledgeable in most aspects of gardening. Starter plants, planting, maintenance and gardening. Extensive knowledge of edible plants and flowers Harvesting seeds, herbs for drying them and propagation. Worked in private estates as well for a few private clients. I also worked for Feys and Hobbs (high end catering) as a floral designer as well as in House Foral designer for the Harbour House. I would work from the garden to decorating for events. Looking for the perfect estate to maintain as well as any needs for events where designing could be needed. I am the winner of the " Wild Wedding" design competition at the Hatley Castle 2003.
