Hello! My name is Gina and I am a garden coach and consultant located in Portland, Oregon. I specialize in creating sustainable kitchen gardens. My services include garden management, edible and ecological kitchen garden design (in ground, container, raised beds) garden updating/refreshes, planting, education and concierge services like plant shopping, harvesting, processing of herbs and food, etc.. I am also experienced with native plants and integrate them if possible in edible landscapes. I can also help you with creating your backyard habitat. My goal is to make having a garden joyful, sustainable, nourishing, accessible, and less overwhelming for you! Plants are my passion and I love helping people maximize the beauty and functionality of their outdoor spaces. I have been gardening for 9 years and I am knowledgeable in regards to soil, amendments, effective non-chemical weed control, permaculture methods, organic methods, low waste methods, sheet mulching, and composting. I also have certifications in plant-based nutrition and lifestyle medicine and can help you create meals, teas, etc. out of the plants you grow in your garden as an add-on service!
