Gardener in Norwood, Ontario

I am a member of the Norwood and District Horticultural Society and the North American Native Plant Society. I am a member of Dry Stone Canada as well as participant in Dry Stone Wall (build) Workshops. I have attended workshops at the Alderville First Nation Black Oak Savanna restoration centre. I own a rural property and starting from nothing have built extensive gardens. My latest project is a 'native woodland' garden. I start plants (flowers, grasses, vegetables and herbs) and trees from seed every year for my own gardens and to donate or gift. I have adopted a piece of Township property to clear it of that terrible invasive species, dog strangling vine. This is a many year project. I am in my 5th year so the work has diminished and I am happy to report great success. I am available to assist you with all of your gardening tasks from seed starting to planting and weeding to managing invasive species. I can also help with smaller hardscape projects. I am rebuilding approximately 1.5 km of cedar rail fencing on my property so I can help with fencing if you need it. I am available immediately for part-time work in the Norwood, Ontario area.
