Hey there! I'm Sam. I'm currently working part time remotely from home, and looking to supplement my income using my experience in gardening & landscaping. Before my current job, I used to work in the landscaping industry in Portland for over 8 years. I have worked for small and large name businesses in town, doing project management, design, maintenance and boutique gardening! My first job in high school and into college was operating my own landscape maintenance business. I have a vast array of knowledge - anything from plant species, weed abatement, hardscaping, fertilization techniques, garden beds, irrigation, you name it. I have a bachelor's degree in biology and a deep understanding of ecological principles when it comes to gardening. I am a great communicator, always punctual, organized and like to think I'm a pleasure to work with! I'd love to find some regular and reoccurring clients who need help their with their garden/backyard sanctuary. Folks who are interested in sustainable garden practices and natural habitats are a big bonus. I love pruning, planting & design - that's my specialty. But happy to help where I am needed. Unfortunately for now I am going to be working out of my truck and will not have a mower, so regular mowing is off the table for time being. I have all other tools necessary, though.
