Hello! My name is Grace and I am passionate about gardening and landscaping. I have been doing freelance landscaping as my primary job for the last 3 years but have taken interest in plants and the natural world for as long as I can remember. My main focus is on sustainable landscaping and food-bearing systems that include native and climate adapted plants. I believe in the blending of aesthetics and functionality, beauty and sustainability. Some of the most important things I like to address with my clients when creating a design or doing a consultation are: • micro-climates and appropriate planting zones • building and maintaining soil fertility • water management, irrigation and rainwater harvesting (passive and active) • access and functionality • proper plant selection Outside of my work experience, I also have a Permaculture Design Certificate which I received through OSU.
