Hello I'm Christopher, a passionate gardener in Hamilton, Ontario (west end near Dundas). ***Please note my client list is full for the season (May 20). If this changes I will update my profile. Thanks for your interest! I have extensive experience growing organic vegetables from running a small farm for 7yrs. I also have experience working in a commercial greenhouse in Hamilton, managing an urban garden in Toronto, and working with multiple clients connected through this site in 2023. I have a special interest in assisting seniors who want to enjoy their gardens but can no longer do the heavy work. If you have an extensive indoor plant collection or greenhouse, I am available to help maintain them as well. With my horticultural work, I like to support pollinators by creating a sustainable habitat for them using native plant species and restricting the use of synthetic chemical pest controls. I will not use RoundUp or any other glyphosate product. I do not have any lawn cutting equipment as my focus is plant care. I'm able to weed, plant, harvest, and have my own hand tools. Able to lift 50lbs and have my own vehicle. If you're interested in expanding your garden to include vegetables and herbs I can provide a lot of know-how to help you succeed. Whether you are looking for an overhaul of your garden or just regular maintenance, I'm the one for the job. My rate: $25.00 per hour. Extra charges for yard waste dump runs and picking up any soil, mulch, etc. Please note, I'm not available weekends as I'll be working in my own vegetable garden.
