I am a creative, passionate, organic horticulture practitioner in Devon, Alberta. I specialize in caring for gardens from planting to organic weed control, building soil health, property clean-up and pruning. I'm always looking for new clients who need help with their garden care. I have decades of personal gardening experience, provided professional top-tier care for two gorgeous estate properties in the YEG area, and I am currently a Lead Horticulture Technician for the University of Alberta Botanic Garden in addition to being a Herbalist. I am endlessly curious and continually learning new things regarding organic horticulture and permaculture practices. My passion for organic gardening allows me to create unique, beautiful, earth-friendly gardens. I am passionate about creating healthy soil ecosystems and low maintenance gardens using sheet mulching, hardy native, edible, and medicinal plants that pollinators love. I absolutely adore cottage style gardens. I'm committed to providing high-quality services at a competitive rate. I charge $25 hour plus $10.00 travel surcharge for travel further than 20 km from Devon. I prefer to stick to the western suburbs and SW side of YEG. I am currently available Saturday or Sunday through 9/30/23. I am available any day of the week after 9/30/23 for seasonal clean up and winter prep. Important note - I do not provide any lawn or turf care service. I also do not use chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides such as Round Up.
