My name is Sam and I am an ecological gardener specializing in native plants and land restoration work. I am comfortable with big and small projects but thrive in creating habitat for wildlife and pollinators. I have been a teacher and educator in the past and would be especially interested in jobs that allow me to work with students or families to learn best gardening practices. We can talk about the plants and the communities of animals and insects they support. I have experience in nursery management and land stewardship. I can confidently and safely operate power tools including chainsaws and farm equipment including tractors. I am happy to do a wide variety of landscape tasks including mowing, string trimming, clearance pruning, trail maintenance/creation, garden design and instalation, weeding, watering, pest identification, storm water mitigation, and permaculture instalation and care. My fees are job dependent, let's talk! I am looking for $160/day minimum for small projects or $25/hour for ongoing multi day projects.
